When should I book my appointment?
We suggest brides book their appointment 6-9 months before their wedding and then order their dress 6 months before the wedding. It normally takes us 4 months to make a dress, but we would always advise that you aim to receive your dress a little earlier just in case.
What are the sizes of your sample dresses?
Our samples dresses are in different sizes ranging from 10 – 18, but one style may not have all the different sizes. We can always make the dresses fit for larger and smaller brides so you can get an idea of what the actual dress will look like.
What will happen during my wedding dress appointment?
During your 1-hour appointment, you will have a stylist to help you choose and try the dresses. Brides normally have time to try 5-6 dresses, but if there’s time you can try as many as you like.
Do you offer a bespoke wedding dress service?
Unfortunately, this is something we are unable to provide. We offer made-to-measure wedding dresses, which means we tailor the size of the dresses from our existing collections. This way we can keep our prices affordable but still offer a custom fit dress. We do not offer a bespoke service as it will be too costly to make a new design from scratch.
I am planning on losing/gaining weight before the wedding, when should I do the dress fitting?
If you are planning on losing/gaining a significant amount of weight before the wedding, we suggest that you finish this process before the wedding dress fitting, and schedule the wedding dress fitting 6 months before your wedding. As the dresses are made to the measurements obtained on the fitting date, please consider that you may be charged if you require major alternations after this time as a result of a change to your body shape.
If you are planning on losing/gaining a small amount of weight, you can ask the stylist about changing the zip back to a ribbon back on the wedding dress which allows the size of the dress to be adjusted up or down 2-3 cm. Please note, depending on the style of the dress, not all dresses are suitable for changing the back details.
Can I return my dress?
Our dresses are made to order. Once the order has been placed to our supplier, we are unable to cancel your order. If you are not happy with your dress for any reason, please contact email@example.com, and we’ll try our best to help you.
What if my dress does not fit?
Our dresses are custom made to your measurements, and they fit our brides most of the time. However, if you are not happy with the fit, we can alter the dress for you. However, please be aware that you may be charged if you request major alternations as a result of a change in your body shape.
Where are your dresses made?
We are working with the best dressmakers in China to produce our dresses. They also make dresses for other top designer brands. All our dresses are handmade.
How long does it take to receive my dress?
It generally takes about 4 months to make your dress. We would suggest you place your order at least 6 months before your wedding just in case. We'll let you know when your dress is ready to collect from our London store or if you prefer we can arrange a courier to deliver to your chosen address (at additional cost).
How to measure?
- Get someone to help you. It is much easier to have someone else take the measurements for you than doing it by yourself.
- Wear an unpadded bra, which can hold the shape of your bust but not add extra volume. All our dresses have built-in bras, so you don't have to wear undergarments with our dresses, but If you plan to wear additional undergarments, wear the exact ones you plan to wear on your wedding day before taking the measurements.
- Wear shoes of the same height you intend to wear on your wedding day.
- Please use centimetres (cm) for the measurements, and follow the instructions in the picture. Write down your measurements, you’ll need to submit them at the check-out page when you place an order with us.
- You can also book a showroom appointment and our stylist will take your measurements for you.
